Id-Tal
The Lanjia Saora are among India's oldest surviving indigenous communities, with references to them found in ancient mythology. Living for generations in the hills of Odisha, they have preserved a rich cultural identity rooted in tradition and their relationship with nature. Today, however, that way of life stands at a crossroads.
This documentary, shot in 2018, explores the cultural transition of the Lanjia Saora tribe as they navigate the delicate balance between preserving their heritage and adapting to a rapidly changing world.
